ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS: SPINAL TAP COVER GOES PAPERCRAFT
6.09.2009
I am obsessed by a question; maybe it's gnawed at you before: how much fun is fun? Is there a limited amount of fun in the world, and if I have too much of it, I'm stealing it from somebody else? (All right, I admit it: I stole this from Nurse Jackie, a very promising new show from Showtime...) What if I combine fun things together, how do I treat that in my fun index? Is the resulting fun the product of its separate parts, or is the first fun thing raised to the power of the second one?
Here's some fun on top of some more fun for y'all: according to Chart Attack, the forthcoming Spinal Tap album, BACK FROM THE DEAD, is wrapped in a fully unfoldable papercraft scene including all the members of the band. The pictures don't show as much as I'd like, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna get caught downloading that album when the package itself is worth the cost of entry. The staff of Chart Attack say it took'em a full 20 minutes to fold the thing. How much fun can that be? I gotta ask, because I'm not sure I can stand this much!
